Miłosz Kędra’s compositions explore synthetic, electroacoustic, and custom-built acoustic instruments, seeking diverse timbres, tunings, and textures. The main focus of their work—and the central element of their debut EP For Aeons(2021)—is the pipe organ. Kędra transports the sound of this instrument beyond the church space by synthetically processing its tones. They are currently pursuing a master’s degree in New Media Music at the Academy of Music in Poznań, having recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Electroacoustic Composition, during which they built their own pipe organ. Their latest album, their internal diapasons, has attracted attention from European and international experimental music circles for its original redefinition of the pipe organ and its raw, textural approach to sound.
